Just a few meters from the Swiss border, one can observe fascinating water dwellers: ranging from the curious and conservation-worthy to rare and mysterious animals.

Visitors discover seahorses, sharks and other inhabitants of the sea in over 40 authentically designed fresh water and salt water basins that house thousands of fascinating inhabitants. Many of the creatures are on the endangered species list. They were saved and cannot be put back into their natural habitat, or were born and raised within the framework of “Sea Life” conservation projects in an aquarium. The exciting journey through the underwater world conveys significant knowledge about the sea and its inhabitants to young and old.
